Karve Institute of Social Service

   Karve Institute of Social Service is a premier Institute of social work education established on 9th November 1963 in commemoration of the social reformer Bharat Ratna Maharshi Dr. Dhondo Keshav Karve.

   The Institute imparts professional training in Social W ork leading towards Master of Social Work degree of the University of Pune. The Institute also offers the M.Phil and Ph.D programmes in Social Work under University of Pune.

  Along with higher education in social work, the Institute is involved in professional research, consultancy, human resource development for social development and social work activities and action projects
