Karve Institute of Social Service

   Institute's placement cell has been functioning since 1987. Every year we have 40-50 requisitions for various positions in governmental and non-governmental organizations to which students are directed. Students do consult faculty members about job profile, salary negotiations and other terms and conditions for jobs.

   Students are given guidance in preparing Bio-Data and preparing for job interviews by experts from the field. Campus interviews are organized as per requisition. Job demands are for the posts of management trainees, research investigators, community organizers, counsellors and welfare officers.

   Many of the field work agencies know our students because of our regular interactions with the professionals in the field. They hence prefer to contact schools of social work like ours.

   The Institute intimates the students about the vacancies by putting up notices on notice boards and contacting them personally / telephonically for various jobs.
